Mobility Global VINtelligence alternatives
Last updated:
Alternatives to VINtelligence, the VIN decoder from Mobility Global (formerly S&P Global Mobility, home of Polk), led by Cardog, with every vendor claim linked.
Cardog is the alternative to VINtelligence built for Canadian vehicles. We decode 99.77% of Canadian VINs to trim level, list Transport Canada and NHTSA recalls for the same VIN, serve spec sheets with units and Canadian prices in CAD, and publish self-serve pricing from US$30 a month with a free plan. Other VIN and vehicle data providers are listed below with what their own pages say.
This page is written by Cardog, so read it with that in mind. Every claim about another company links to that company's own public page or filing, and we checked those pages on 2026-10-27. Every Cardog claim is something our API serves today.
About VINtelligence and Mobility Global

From the 2022 datasheet: VINtelligence comes in Base, Standard, Plus and Deluxe packages, with weekly data updates. It is delivered as a hosted web service, batch processing or web interface, or as a deployed solution in Java, C# or a data file. No prices are published; the datasheet lists a phone number to contact (VINtelligence datasheet).

Where Cardog fits
Cardog is the vehicle API for teams whose vehicles are Canadian. One key answers who the vehicle is down to trim, which Transport Canada and NHTSA campaigns cover its model year, what its spec sheet says in metric units, and what it lists for in Canada, priced in CAD. Prices are published, and you can start the same day on the Free plan, then move to a paid plan from US$30 a month. See Pricing and the docs.
