Dealer OS · Inventory

Every unit from intake to the front line

Add a car by its VIN, walk it through your stages and see which ones are running late.

Inventory

  • Stages you name

Rename, recolour or add statuses inside fixed categories that decide what goes live.

  • A clock per stage

Set the hours a stage should take. Late cards turn red on the board.

  • Costs stay private

Floor, purchase price and recon cost are hidden from sales roles.

  • Facts filled once

Carrier, inspector and recon dates go in the stage card and stay on the car.

Intake

Decode the VIN, then price it

The VIN fills year, make, model and trim. Stock number, status, asking, floor and cost follow on one page.

Stage board

See what is stuck

Each status is a column. Cards carry stock number, price, kilometres, open leads and time in stage.

Photos

A shot list for each body style

Units under the photo minimum queue up, listed cars first. Every photo is filed to a shot, and a rear angle is never the cover.

Rooftops

The whole group in a single table

Filter by store, sort by days live, watch 30-day price changes and export the view as CSV or JSON.

Views

Same lot, shaped for the job

Managers scan the board, staff open a record, admins set the stages.

Questions

Questions about inventory

Will a DMS feed overwrite our edits?
Fields the feed owns are read-only and tagged, so nothing you type is quietly reverted on the next sync.
Can we add our own statuses?
Yes. A new status joins a category, which decides whether the car shows online and when it counts as sold.
