Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the steering column control module may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driver-front airbag may not inflate in a crash. Note: This problem would cause the airbag warning light to turn on. Safety Risk: An airbag that is turned off could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the steering column control module.
Issue: On certain trucks, the driver's side mirror glass may not be attached properly. As a result, the mirror glass could fall off. Note: This recall only affects certain trucks equipped with a heated trailer tow mirror. Safety Risk: A missing mirror will reduce rear visibility and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the driver side mirror glass.
Issue: On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the electronic stability control (ESC) system not to work. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: This problem would cause warning lights for the antilock braking system (ABS), ESC, adaptive cruise control (ACC), and forward collision warning (FCW) to appear on the instrument panel. Safety Risk: An electronic stability control system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the antilock braking system (ABS) control module software.

Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Note: For the Grand Cherokee model, this recall affects 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2023 Grand Cherokee L models. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the radio software.

Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall 2023-047. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the trailer reverse steering control module software.
Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with a 3.0 L diesel engine, the high-pressure fuel pump could fail. If this happens, you may notice a change in engine performance, a fuel leak, or a malfunction indicator lamp and/or service electronic throttle control tell-tale may turn on. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the high-pressure fuel pump. Additional fuel system parts may be replaced, if necessary.
