Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the gear shift module may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the transmission gear selection indicator (PRND) displayed next to the shifter may not work. Safety Risk: A transmission gear selection indicator that doesn't work could create confusion and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the gear shift module.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the front suspension knuckles could crack and/or break. A front knuckle that breaks while driving could cause a sudden loss of vehicle control. Note: This recall is an expansion of N759 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-668). Certain vehicles that were inspected/repaired under that recall, also require this repair. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front suspension knuckles. If the knuckles aren't cracked, the dealer will install retaining brackets. If cracks are found, the dealer will replace the knuckle(s).
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the rear doors may not latch properly when they are closed. As a result, the rear doors could open while driving. Safety Risk: A door that opens suddenly while driving could create the risk of injury and/or increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to disable the unilatch keyless vehicle (KV) entry function.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Land Rover dealer during recall N759 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-668) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, the front suspension knuckles could crack and/or break. A front knuckle that breaks while driving could cause a sudden loss of vehicle control. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front suspension knuckles. Issue: On certain vehicles, the second-row center seat belt buckle may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the seat belt may not latch securely. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't latch properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Land Rover advises that you should check that the second-row center seat belt is latched properly. Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the second-row center seat belt buckle.

Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the touch screen to remain blank when the vehicle is started. As a result, the rearview camera image would not appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 10-inch touch screen. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the touch screen software.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the rearview camera and cause the rearview camera image not to display correctly or at all. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rearview camera.
