Summary
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Range Rover vehicles. Water may enter into the rearview camera, which can cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display or display a distorted image.
Potential Consequence
A rearview camera image that does not display can decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed April 22, 2025. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N946.

Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the rearview camera and cause the rearview camera image not to display correctly or at all. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rearview camera.
Engine
Summary
Issue: This recall is for certain replacement engines. The oil filter housing may not have been manufactured properly. Over time, the housing could crack and cause oil to leak onto hot components in the engine compartment. Safety Risk: Oil that leaks onto hot components can create the risk of a fire. Additionally, an oil leak could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: None of the affected engines have been installed in vehicles. Land Rover will instruct dealers to replace the oil filter housing assembly before each engine is installed.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles equipped with a Surround Camera System. Water may enter into the rearview camera, which can cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display or display a distorted image. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Potential Consequence
A rearview camera image that does not display while in reverse decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the rearview camera and add a new seal or replace the camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed to Range Rover owners March 4, 2024. Interim notification letters were mailed to Range Rover Sport owners March 7, 2024. Range Rover Sport owners will receive a second notice once remedy parts become available. For Ranger Rover Sport models, this recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024-289. Issue: On certain vehicles, a foam block mounted in the body shell could damage the tail lamp wiring. If this happens, one or more tail lamp(s) may stop working. Safety Risk: Tail lamps that don't work properly may make the vehicle less visible to others and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to remove the foam block mounted in the body shell. The dealer will also inspect the body-mounted tail lamp and wiring, and replace them if necessary.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS

The rear taillight link may be damaged, which can cause exterior vehicle lights, including the rear light mounted in the body, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals to fail to illuminate.
Potential Consequence
Exterior lights that fail to illuminate can decrease visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy

Potential Consequence
An improperly welded second-row left seat frame may not adequately secure occupants during sudden braking or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the latch for the seat frame on second-row left seat may not have been properly welded. As a result, the latch could fail and the seat could move in a crash. Note: This recall only affects vehicles with 7 seats. Safety Risk: A seat that moves in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the second-row left seat frame. If necessary, the seat frame and associated parts will be replaced. To reduce the safety risk, Land Rover recommends watching for warning lamps on the instrument cluster. If the seat isn't properly latched, a red warning will display. If this warning stays on, Land Rover advises that you shouldn't transport a person in the left or center second-row seats until the recall repairs have been completed.
