THE AXLE RETAINING "C" CLIP IN THE DIFFERENTIAL MAY DISLODGE AND ALLOW THE AXLE, WHEEL AND BRAKE DRUM TO SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE WHEN SUBJECTED TO SIDE FORCES. AXLE SEPARATION COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND POSSIBLE CRASH.
On certain vehicles, the heads of the rear seatbelt anchor bolts may break off during normal vehicle use and in the event of an accident in which the rear seatbelts are in use, the probability of injury to the wearer will be increased.

THE REAR AXLES OF THESE VEHICLES WERE FILLED WITH HYPOID REAR AXLE LUBRICANT WHICH HAS AN INSUFFICIENT ZINC CONTENT. USE OF THIS LUBRICANT MAY RESULT IN PREMATURE WEAR OF AXLE COMPONENTS DURING CONDITIONS OF REPEATED WHEEL SPIN.
VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH OPTIONAL U.S. RALLY GAUGE PACKAGES. THE U.S. RALLY GAUGE PACKAGE CONTAINS A SPEEDOMETER CALIBRATED IN MILES PER HOUR AND AN ODOMETER CALIBRATED IN MILES RATHER THAN KILOMETERS PER HOUR AND KILOMETRES AS REQUIRED BY CANADA MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD 101 - CONTROL LOCATIONS.
