Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the wrong owner's manual may have been included with the vehicle. As a result, a person may not understand how use the vehicle safely, including how to properly install a child seat. Safety Risk: Incorrect information in an owner's manual could cause confusion. A child seat that is not installed properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the owner's manual.
