FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
I know this has probably been posted. Driving last night with the wife and I smell fuel. Then the gas gauge starts to drop from full to empty in less than 3 minutes. I pull over, the car shuts down. I see fuel on the passenger side , just in front of the tire. Get the car safely towed home. I pop the back seat and remove the access cover for the fuel pump. See picture. This is how I found the fuel line. The green locking tab was not locked. Even though theirs a green paint mark to confirm the fuel line is secure. Obviously not. The locking tab barely engages and is so easy to move to the unlocked position with no effort at all. Stellantis should be embarrassed that a vehicle left their plant in an unsafe condition. Either the locking tab was not engaged fully or in my opinion a terrible design. It should lock with some effort. With the high pressure the fuel system is under there should be a better locking mechanism. This is a poor design. My car is not modified, has only 2,000 miles on it and has never been tracked. To me a design flaw or piss poor installation tech is responsible. The car could have caught on fire and hurt someone if it was in my garage. These lines should use aircraft style fasteners for the fuel lines, especially at the top of the pump. I have seen at least 12 other instances like this online. That means there are many more. There needs to be a recall that changes the fuel pump and a much more reliable fastening and locking system. These car were and are not cheap. I’ve never complained here or anywhere. I really enjoy the car. But now my confidence in the vehicle’s safety is very much in question. When I called Chrysler roadside assistance they said I couldn’t get a two until Monday 11-3. WTH! @DodgeCares sounds like you don’t really care. The BMW dealership that I have bought two cars from where out in 30 minutes to help and get me and my car home.

SERVICE BRAKES
As described in the 05-001-22 bulletin, my brakes are making a clicking noise when reversing or turning at low speeds. A bulletin has been issued for every year except 2023 (my car’s year) for the same issue.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
Front windshield on the passenger side developed a stress crack. There is no impact mark and the crack developed while turning a corner. Hopefully this doesn't mean that there is a deeper issue with the frame. This is a common issue on this year and model specifically that many have been complaining about on online forums. The crack grew from 5 inches to over a foot long within an hour. Others have said this will continue to grow horizontally until it splits the glass in two. This is a huge safety risk for all of the obvious reasons which can be googled. Not to mention it makes the car legally undrivable until fixed.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
On March 25, 2025, the windshield in the vehicle spontaneously cracked, while parked and unattended, beginning from about midway down on the driver side A-pillar. This seems to be a known and repeated issue with windshields on the Dodge Challenger. Inspected by the dealership who stated that they had seen the issue before and agreed that it was obviously not struck with anything. Dodge (Stellantis) denied warranty claim.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER
At 7k miles my windshield cracked sitting in the driveway. I have done some research and there are plenty of examples of 2023 Dodge Challengers having this issue. It is because of a manufacturing defect in the glass. I contacted Dodge and the dealership and they've claimed this damage is known and even inspected to prove it was not caused by an impact. Dodge also will not replace it under warranty even tho it is a manufacturing defect.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMSERVICE BRAKES
So this is not about an actual incident that occurred but is more so about about an issue with a manufacturer ive uncovered , being a mechanic and working primarily on dodge vehicles ive noticed at least for the last 2 years of modules the part numbers they list for their car line have not had the correct modules in them , in my own case I needed a module for my own car ,Ive bought 2 from junkyards using dodges own service library and the cars vins they came from that were once on the road and both cars had the wrong module numbers , I have since ordered a brand new module using the exact part number from a dealership brand new in the box and that module is also not the correct part number..my concern is who else is driving these cars from at least the last 2 years with the wrong module in the car, I have read all 3 modules using witech dodges own software and all 3 are not the ones that are supposed to be in them..I also know there are 152 on backorder of the correct ones that should have been in them with 0 being made...im not really one for conspiracy but this is kinda crazy. I know for sure that things like vehicle weight and stuff are programmed into these and the wrong calibration of that alone could easily cause the system to not function as designed causing crashes that could have been avoided if the system were functioning properly , the part number in question should have been 68399772AE,68399772AF and if they ever get a supplier for the latest revision they list that part number is 68399772AG, the supersession they list is from at least 2021 model years forward so it may have been even longer but I only have proof for the 23 year cars.the cars affected are chrysler 300, dodge challenger and dodge charger all trim levels as far as I've seen should have 68399772AE and none do. The file uploaded is a picture of a brand new 68399772AE out of the box and what was actually in the box. I have more of junkyard car modules that also weren't correct.
