Issue: On certain vehicles, the optional off-road light bar installed during service may not have been attached properly. As a result, the light bar could loosen and detach from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A light bar that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tesla will notify owners by email and advise you to contact Tesla Service to arrange for an inspection of the off-road light bar. Tesla Service will add additional fasteners to secure the light bar or, if necessary, replace the light bar and ensure that it's properly secured.

Potential Consequence

Remedy
Tesla Service will inspect the light bar and install an additional mechanical attachment or replace the light bar using tape to adhere the light bar to the windshield as well as an additional mechanical attachment as necessary, free of charge.
