EXCESSIVE ACCELERATOR CABLE FRICTION MAY RESTRICT THE CABLE'S FREE MOVEMENT BETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND THE THROTTLE BODY. THIS COULD PREVENT THE THROTTLE FROM RETURNING TO IDLE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS RELEASED AND POSSIBLY RESULT IN LOSS OF ACCELERATOR CONTROL AND A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND ACCELERATOR CONTROL CABLE WILL BE REPLACED IF REQUIRED.
UNDER A HIGH RESISTANCE LOAD, THE IN-LINE FUSEABLE LINK LOCATED IN THE AREA OF THE PLASTIC WINDSHIELD WASHER BOTTLE BRACKET, MAY MELT DOWN AND IGNITE THE BRACKET. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: WINDSHIELD WASHER BOTTLE BRACKET WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.
ON VEHICLES WITH FOGLAMPS, THE HEADLAMP CIRCUIT BREAKER MAY OVERHEAT AT LOW BEAM RESULTING IN AN INTERMITTENT HEADLAMP CIRCUIT. AN INTERMITTENT CIRCUIT COULD CAUSE THE HEADLAMPS AND FOGLAMPS TO SUDDENLY GO OUT. UNDER NIGHTTIME OR SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS, THIS COULD REDUCE VISIBILITY AND RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: WIRING WILL BE REVISED FOR THE FORWARD LAMP CIRCUIT ON SUSPECT VEHICLES.
THESE VEHICLES DO NOT COMPLY WITH C.M.V.S.S. 1103 - EXHAUST EMISSIONS. - MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR FAILURE - NOTE : VEHICLES WITH 3.0 LITRE AND 3.8 LITRE ENGINES.
CERTAIN REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTERS, FRAM BRAND NAME P/N G3727, WITH DATE CODES X52911 THROUGH X60801 SEQUENTIALLY OR X600141 AND A MEXICO COUNTRY OR ORIGIN MARKING ON THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURED FROM OCTOBER 18, 2005, THROUGH MARCH 21, 2006, SOLD FOR USE ON THE VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE AND ON CERTAIN SCHOOL BUSES. (TO SEE THE SCHOOL BUS ENGINE SIZES, CLICK ON "DOCUMENT SEARCH" AND THEN "BUS APPLICATIONS"). THE CONNECTOR ON THE FUEL FILTER WAS NOT MANUFACTURED TO HONEYWELL'S SPECIFICATION. AS A RESULT, THE O-RING MAY NOT SEAT CORRECTLY ON THE FUEL LINE.
THIS CONDITION MAY CAUSE AN INADEQUATE SEAL AT THE CONNECTION, POTENTIALLY LEADING TO A FUEL LEAK. IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE COULD OCCUR.
HONEYWELL WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE FUEL FILTERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 18, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FRAM CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-890-2075 (OPTION 1).

REPLACE ACCELERATOR CABLE.
AN IN LINE FUSIBLE LINK MAY MELT DOWN AND CAUSE A FIRE.
THE IN LINE FUSIBLE LINK LOCATED IN THE AREA OF THEPLASTIC WINDSHIELD WASHER BOTTLE BRACKET MAY, UNDER A HIGH RESISTANCE LOAD,MELT DOWN AND IGNITE THE WASHER BOTTLE BRACKET RESULTING IN AN ENGINECOMPARTMENT FIRE.
THE WINDSHIELD WASHER BOTTLE BRACKET WILL BE REPLACED.
THE HEADLAMP CIRCUIT BREAKER MAY OVERHEAT AT LOW BEAM CAUSING AN INTERMITTENT HEADLAMP CIRCUIT.
HEADLAMP AND FOGLAMPS WOULD GO OUT SUDDENLY REDUCINGDRIVER VISIBILITY, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
REVISE FOGLAMP CIRCUIT TO PREVENT OVERHEATING OF HEADLAMP CIRCUIT.
