Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Jaguar dealer during recall H445 (Transport Canada recall no. 2023-401) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, the rearview camera wiring harness in the trunk could become damaged and cause the rearview image not to display correctly or not to display at all. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2023-401. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jaguar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and repair or replace the rearview camera wiring harness, as necessary.

If the wiring harness is damaged, it will be repaired.
On certain vehicles, the brazing fuel rail end caps may not seal properly which could cause a fuel leak over time. A Fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel rail.
On certain vehicles, the instrument cluster could go blank intermittently and be unable to display important information. This could result in the driver not being aware of vehicle speed or any malfunction lights turning on, which could affect vehicle performance and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the vehicle software.
On certain vehicles equipped with a 2.0L diesel engine, the fuel return hose could leak. This could cause a the fuel to leak onto the road surface which can present a skid hazard to other road users increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could also cause a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel return hose.
