Summary

On certain vehicles, the mechanically operated fuel pump on carburated engine may eventually develop a fuel leak at the crimped seam between the two fuel pump halves. This could result in an engine compartment fire. Correction: An improved fuel pump will be installed.

Summary

On certian vehicles, production tolerance errors in the hood safety catch could allow accidental hood opening. If the hood is not securely latched in the full lock position, driving at high speed or hitting a large bump could cause the hood to open suddenly blocking the driver's vision.

LEFT DRIVE SHAFT MAY DEVELOP CRACKS, AND MAY BREAK UNDER HEAVY LOADING SUCH AS THAT CAUSED BY RAPID ACCELERATION. THIS DEFECT ORIGINATED IN A MANUFACTURING PROCESS WHICH HAS NOW BEEN IMPROVED.
