Issue: On certain vehicles, the front passenger seat occupant classification system (OCS) may not work properly due to interference between seat components. As a result, the airbag system can turn off the passenger-front airbag even when a passenger is seated. Safety Risk: An airbag system that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Lexus recommends that you shouldn't transport a passenger in the front passenger seat until the recall repairs have been completed. Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front passenger seat frame assembly.

Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a panoramic view monitor system. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the parking assist ECU software.

United States records (NHTSA) · 6

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2022 Lexus LX vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Lexus's Canadian VIN lookup.
