Issue: On certain vehicles, the bracket that secures the rear center seat belt buckle may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the seat belt could detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that detaches in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Hyundai advises that you shouldn't transport a passenger in the rear center seat until the recall repairs are completed. Hyundai will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rear center seat belt buckle.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2025 Hyundai Kona vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Hyundai's Canadian VIN lookup.
