Fuel System
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel pump relay could fail. A fuel pump relay failure can result in a no-start condition or cause a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: Vehicles that had a fuel pump relay replaced as part of a Transport Canada Recall No. 2014-386 (FCA Recall No. P54) or 2015-085 (R09) require a second repair under this recall. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel pump relay, mounting bracket and related wiring.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Summary
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with a 3.6, 5.7, or 6.4 liter engine and previously recalled under NHTSA Recall 14V530 or 15V115. The fuel pump relay inside the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM-7) may fail, causing the vehicle to stall without warning.
Potential Consequence
A vehicle stall increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) will replace the affected fuel pump relay and related wire harness. Interim notices informing owners of the safety risk were mailed beginning December 19, 2019. Vehicles that experience a fuel pump failure will receive an interim repair. Owners will receive a second notice when the final remedy becomes available. Summary
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2011-2014 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. The affected vehicles had brake booster shields installed under a previous campaign to prevent water from entering the brake booster and limiting braking ability. This recall is to verify that the brake booster shield installation was performed properly.
Potential Consequence
If the brake booster shield was not installed properly, the vehicle's braking ability may be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy

On certain vehicles, a brake booster shield may have been incorrectly installed as part of recall P14/2014-112. An incorrectly installed shield could be less effective in diverting water away from the brake booster, creating the possibility of corrosion allowing water to get inside. In a cold climate, water inside the brake booster could freeze limiting the braking ability of the vehicle, resulting in longer braking distances, increasing the risk of crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the installation of the brake booster shield and perform repairs as necessary.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR/REGULATOR
Summary
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2011-2014 Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300, Dodge Durango, and 2012-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. The affected vehicles have electro-hydraulic power steering (EHPS) and are equipped with a 5.7L or a 3.6L engine and a 160, 180 or 220 amp alternator. In the affected vehicles, the alternator may suddenly fail.
Potential Consequence
If the alternator fails, the vehicle may stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash. There is also the possibility that the alternator may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the alternator and depending on the part number, will replace the alternator, if necessary, free of charge. The recall began February 12, 2018. On certain vehicles equipped with electro-hydraulic power steering (“EHPS”), the alternator may fail suddenly. This could result in the engine stalling, causing a loss of motive power which could increase the risk of a crash as well as disable various vehicle safety systems, and could also cause a fire. Both issues could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the part number on the alternator, and will replace the alternator as necessary. Note: Only specific engine and alternator combinations are affected by this campaign.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING
Summary
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured December 3, 2009, to September 1, 2012. In the affected vehicles, the wiring for the vanity lamp in the sun visor may short circuit, after having been remedied for a prior recall for the vanity lamp wiring. This recall is also addressing certain vehicles that have not been remedied under that prior recall.
Potential Consequence
The vanity lamp wiring may short, increasing the risk of a vehicle fire.
Remedy

On certain vehicles equipped with illuminated sun visor vanity mirrors with 120mm wiring, service repairs requiring removal of the sun visors and/or headliner may cause an electrical short circuit which could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Vehicles equipped with 120mm wiring that were previously repaired under recall 2014-275 will require repair under this recall. Correction: Dealers will replace the sun visors and modify the surrounding sheet metal and install vanity lamp wiring guides.

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured September 17, 2010, to August 19, 2013, and equipped with a 3.6, 5.7 or 6.4 liter engine, and 2012-2013 Dodge Durango vehicles manufactured January 18, 2011, to August 19, 2013, and equipped with a 3.6 or 5.7 liter engine. In the affected vehicles, the fuel pump relay inside the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM-7) may fail, causing the vehicle to stall without warning.
Potential Consequence
A vehicle stall increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump relay with one external to the TIPM. The recall began on August 7, 2015. Summary
This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2019-573 (FCA Recall No. V62). On certain vehicles, a fuel pump relay within the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM-7) could fail, causing the engine to stall or to fail to start. Engine stalling would result in a loss of motive power, which, in conjunction with driver reactions and traffic conditions, could increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a revised fuel pump relay external to the TIPM-7.

In the affected vehicles, the wiring for the vanity lamp in the sun visor may short circuit, after a service repair is performed.
Potential Consequence
If the vanity lamp wiring shorts, there is an increased risk of fire.
Remedy
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair any damaged wiring, and install a new sun visor that properly routes the wire, free of charge. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P36.
Brakes
Summary
On certain vehicles, the centre shell of the brake booster may corrode. A corroded centre shell could allow water to get inside the brake booster, which in a cold climate may freeze. This could result in inadequate braking, increasing stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace any brake booster that has an unacceptable loss of vacuum pressure, all affected vehicles will have a water diverter shield added to the brake booster.

Summary
Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured October 11, 2011, through October 1, 2012. Under certain braking events, the Ready Alert Braking System (RAB) may result in the driver experiencing a hard brake pedal feel.
Potential Consequence
If the driver experiences a hard brake pedal, the driver may not push the pedal as intended, lengthening the distance needed to stop the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy

On certain vehicles, the anti-lock braking system (ABS) may have an out of specification traction isolation valve. CHRYSLER IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2012 CHRYSLER VEHICLES, INCLUDING 200 AND TOWN AND COUNTRY MODELS, DODGE VEHICLES, INCLUDING CHARGER, DURANGO, GRAND CARAVAN AND JOURNEY MODELS AND JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM AUGUST 31, 2011, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 13, 2011, THAT ARE EQUIPPED WITH 3.6L ENGINES. THESE ENGINES MAY EXPERIENCE CONNECTING ROD BEARING FAILURE DUE TO DEBRIS INSIDE THE ENGINE BLOCK.

On certain vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine, debris in the cylinder block (from the manufacturing process) could cause connecting rod bearing and crankshaft bearing damage.
