On certain vehicles, the fuel tank strap may separate due to high stress concentration at the double toggle lock upset area. Fuel tank strap separation could result in the fuel tank contacting the road surface or, on vehicles equipped with a fuel tank skid plate, the tank may contact the skid plate and wear at the point of contact. Either condition could result in fuel tank leakage. Correction: Double toggle lock fuel tank straps will be replaced with the single toggle lock design.

United States records (NHTSA) · 5

These are NHTSA campaigns for 1999 Dodge Durango vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Dodge's Canadian VIN lookup.
