Issue: On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the pedestrian warning system not to work properly. As a result, the vehicle may not produce enough sound when the vehicle is stationary. New Canadian regulations require electric vehicles to make a minimum sound level when the vehicle is stationary. Safety Risk: A pedestrian warning system that doesn't work properly could create an increased risk of injury for other road users. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the body control module software.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Chevrolet's Canadian VIN lookup.
