Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a General Motors dealer during recall N252503010 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-351) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, the parking brake wiring harness could become damaged and/or corroded. If this happens, the parking brake may not work and the vehicle could roll away when it's parked. This problem could also cause the parking brake to apply suddenly while driving. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Additionally, a parking brake that self-applies while driving could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the wiring harness.

Issue: On one vehicle, the right-front lower control arm may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the control arm could break and cause a sudden loss of vehicle stability. Safety Risk: A loss of vehicle stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The affected vehicle has not been delivered to a customer. General Motors will instruct the dealer to inspect and, if necessary, replace the right-front lower control arm before the vehicle is delivered.
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the lower beam headlamps not to turn on as it becomes dark outside if the multi-function switch is in the "OFF" or "PARKING LAMP" position. This could also cause the daytime running lamps (DRLs) to turn off when the vehicle is moving. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: Headlamps and/or DRLs that don't turn on could reduce visibility, make the vehicle less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the body control module (BCM)software.

The rear parking brake wiring harness may become damaged or corroded, resulting in unintended activation of the parking brake or loss of the parking brake function.
Unintended activation of the parking brake while driving increases the risk of a crash. Loss of the parking brake function while parked can result in a rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.

The electric motors in the rear drive units may have insufficiently insulated wires that can contact each other, resulting in a loss of drive power.
A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
