Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the brake lines for the rear wheels may not have been connected to the control module properly. As a result, the antilock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability program (ESP) systems may not work correctly. Safety Risk: An antilock braking system and electronic stability control system that doesn't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: McLaren will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, correct the brake line connections.

Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, McLaren recommends not to drive your vehicle on a racetrack until the recall repairs have been completed. Dealers will install bespoke fasteners into each corner of the polycarbonate panel, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed on December 11, 2024.
