Issue: This recall is for low-pressure fuel pumps installed on certain vehicles or sold at dealerships as a replacement part. On certain vehicles, the low-pressure fuel pump could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start and the check engine light may turn on. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2023-679. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel pump motor.

Certain vehicles may have been built with a defective fuel tank crossover pipe connecting the left and right tanks. Over time, the crossover pipe could separate and cause a fuel leak which, in the presence of an ignition source, could create the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: The company will replace affected fuel tanks.
Certain vehicles were equipped with a center high-mount stop light assembly that could short circuit and cause a loss of brake lights. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. In addition, a vehicle with this condition cannot be restarted once it is turned off. Correction: The company will replace the center high-mount stop light assembly.
On certain vehicles, the platic front seatbelt release buttons may break allowing plastic pieces to fall into the buckle assembly. If this should happen, a no latch, false latch or failure to unlatch condition could occur creating the risk of personal injury in the event of a crash or sudden stop. Correction: Front seatbelt buckles will be repaired or replaced as necessary.
