Potential consequence
Loss of vehicle control increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will update the powertrain control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 21, 2026. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Potential consequence

Due to an improperly designed trailer tow module, the trailer lights may fail to illuminate and the trailer brakes may fail.
Potential consequence
Trailer brake lights and turn signals that do not illuminate reduce visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, trailer brakes that fail increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the trailer tow module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning March 17, 2026. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Potential consequence
Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system increases the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driver's side air bag or seat belt pretensioner that does not deploy increases the risk of injury in a crash.

Issue: On a small number of trucks, the compliance label and tire and loading information label may list the wrong gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and gross axle weight rating (GAWR) information. Additionally, the truck-camper loading documentation may list wrong information. This could lead you to overload the truck and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of vehicle control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: None of the affected trucks have been delivered to customers. FCA Canada will instruct dealers to replace the compliance label and tire and loading information label before the trucks are delivered. Additionally, the truck-camper loading document will be removed.
