When pressing the accelerator, there is an extremely loud and abnormal noise coming from the fuel pump. The noise is so severe that it raises safety concerns while driving. The issue appears similar to fuel-pump–related problems reported in other recalled Honda vehicles.

My wife started hearing a knocking sound while driving, coming from under the hood. I opened the hood while the engine was idling and could tell the sound was coming from inside the engine. Checked the oil level and it was in the operating range and looked clean. I had just changed the oil and filter 08/2025. After that we immediately drove it to the Honda dealer where we purchased the vehicle and the service manager heard the noise, checked for recalls, but could only find the recall for the 2019 Honda Odyssey [XXX] The service manager called in one of his mechanics to listen to the noise in the service manager bay and he said, "Sounds like a bad rod bearing". They then took the vehicle to inspect it further in the mechanic's garage, but as they were pulling it into the bay the engine complete seized up. The vehicle only has 68k miles on it, but now its beyond the warranty period. I was also told by the dealer when I purchased it, that it and the 2019 are identical, so why was the recall issued for the 2019 Odyssey, but not the 2020 model? I'm reading lots of similar reports of this same exact issue with the 2020 model from Honda forums and on youtube posts. The camera controlling many systems regarding safety failed and caused numerous warning lights to come on. Complete camera replacement was necessary.

Driver side rear sliding door will not open even when the automatic release button is disengaged. Some could be trapped in an emergency or I am worried that if it opens I will not be able to get it closed.

Connecting rod bearing failure at 105,000 miles, even with full recommended and documented service history.

Side airbags deployed while driving down road at about 35 mph hitting a minor bump in road. Air bags deployment while the car is in motion during safe driving conditions is a distraction to the driver and harms the passengers who are in the vehicle who if the airbags did not deploy would have remained safe since no collision was experienced. Took vehicle to Honda dealership- who stated airbags worked as intended and we needed to file a collision claim with insurance- despite no collision taking place and no other damage to the car i.e. no bent rim or flat tire/tire damage. Just saw article stating our scenario was not unique to our make/model of van.

Several warnings lights appeared on the dash at the same time regarding the accident safety features including: Adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and lane keep assistance. None are currently working. The warning randomly appeared. It's associated with the camera behind the windshield and the radar detection behind the front emblem. Problem confirmed by dealer. Components have not been evaluated by anyone.

All warning lights came on for Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Keeping Assistance.Based on my research, it seems the forward facing camera has failed. The vehicle only has 37,000 miles on it and it is only 5 years old.
