The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V611000 (Structure) and 25V695000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact stated that when the vehicle was shifted into reverse(R), the back over prevention screen turned off. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, and it was confirmed that the parts for the recall repairs were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that after visiting the car wash on several occasions, and the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware that the passenger’s and driver’s door trims had detached. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

REAR-VIEW CAMERA DISPLAY - I recently learned of Safety Recall Notice 25S89 / NHTSA Recall 25V572. My 2016 Ford Taurus has been exhibiting the same camera issue display as described in recall notice number provided. It's been doing this for at least 5 or more years. However, when reviewing the details and models being recalled, I noticed the Ford Taurus is not included. The Taurus should be included in the recall.

Ford has a recall on back up cameras and I believe my 2016 model should be included in this recall. My camera works about 50% or more of the time, a pop up warning shows camera not working. the recall is for other models in year 2016 but not my model
