Canadian regulations require electric vehicles to make a minimum sound level when operating at low speeds. Safety Risk: A pedestrian warning system that isn't loud enough could create an increased risk of injury for other road users. These are NHTSA campaigns for 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles.
