Issue: On certain vehicles, the joints that connect the front and rear suspension wishbones could corrode over time. If this happens, the joint or wishbone could fail. Safety Risk: A suspension failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the suspension spherical joints and wishbones. If no damage is found, you may continue to use the vehicle. If damage is found, Porsche will advise you to stop using the vehicle until the recall repairs can be completed. Porsche will send a second notice to all owners when replacement parts are available.
