Certain vehicles may contain a defective switch console for the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Traction Control (TC-Off) switches. The LEDs in the switches can signal a function change in the PASM mode or the deactivation of Traction Control even though the switches were not actuated. Should these systems be inadvertently disabled, their safety benefits would be unavailable to the driver, which could increase the possibility of a crash during aggressive driving manoeuvres. Correction: Dealers will replace the switch console.

United States records (NHTSA) · 2

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2008 Porsche 911 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Porsche's Canadian VIN lookup.
