Debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, which can result in an engine stall and loss of drive power.
Potential Consequence
A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

The remedy is currently under development. Once the repair is available, repairs will be performed free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed December 22, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.
