Summary

Issue: On certain vehicles, the engine may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the engine could make abnormal noises and a warning light may turn on. If you continue to drive the vehicle with these symptoms, the engine could fail. Note: This recall only affects plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: An engine failure could cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels and/or increase the risk of a vehicle fire. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash or injury. Corrective actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Summary

Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by an FCA dealer during recall 95B (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-566) may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required. On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery that can cause a fire, even while parked with the ignition off. Note: This recall only affects 4xe plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-566. Safety Risk: The vehicle could catch fire, even while parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, FCA advises not to charge your vehicle, and to park it outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the high-voltage battery pack software. If necessary, the battery pack will be replaced.

If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall only affects plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, FCA Canada has released an over-the air software update. FCA Canada will notify owners in writing. The final corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Summary

Issue: On certain vehicles, the wrong dash wiring harness may have been installed during production. As a result, the trailer lights may not work. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with the trailer tow option. Safety Risk: Trailer lights that don't work could make the trailer less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the dash wiring harness.

Summary

Issue: On certain vehicles, the steering column control module may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driver-front airbag may not inflate in a crash. Note: This problem would cause the airbag warning light to turn on. Safety Risk: An airbag that is turned off could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering column control module.

Summary

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.

Potential Consequence

A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed December 2, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 68C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 6, 2025. Vehicles that were previously recalled for the same issue under NHTSA Recalls 24V720 and 23V787 will need to have the new remedy performed.
