On certain vehicles, the fuel hose connections from the engine fuel pressure regulator to the fuel rail and certain fuel hose connections between the gas tank and the engine fuel rail may leak because of hose deterioration creating a fire hazard.
On certain vehicles equipped with optional Air Cushion Restraint System. The driver module "in steering wheel" may have an improper amount of propellant to properly inflate the driver air cushion.
On certain vehicles equipped with the Air Cushion Restraint System (ACRS) option. An underhood wiring harness which is one of the means of activating the acrs in the event of an accident, may have been routed so that it can be pulled into contact with the power steering pulley. Should the harness cover be rubbed through by the power steering pulley, it could cause a short - allowing inadvertent deployment of the air cushion in the passenger compartment. A loss of control and vehicle could occur.
