Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera software.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the passenger occupant detection system (PODS) may malfunction. This could cause the airbag system to turn off the passenger-front airbag even when a passenger is seated. Note: This problem would cause an error message to display on the instrument panel and a warning chime to sound. The airbag indicator light would also display "passenger airbag off". Safety Risk: An airbag that is turned off could increase the risk of injury to a passenger in a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the passenger-front seat cushion. Audi advises that you shouldn't use the front passenger seat if a PODS error message displays on the instrument panel or if the airbag indicator light displays "passenger airbag off" with an occupant in the seat.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-189. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Audi recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Audi will notify owners by mail. As an interim repair, a dealer will inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-voltage battery modules. Once the final repair is available, Audi will notify you by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install an advanced diagnostic software that will monitor the high-voltage battery and warn you if it detects a problem.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the front brake hoses could fail and cause a progressive brake fluid leak. If this happens, you may experience a change in brake pedal feel and travel. This can cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front brake hoses.

This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024-573. Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. Issue: Under certain conditions, the plug for the 220 V compact vehicle charging cable could become damaged by the house power outlet. As a result, the cable could overheat while charging. Note: This recall only affects electric and plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the vehicle charging cable. For unsold vehicles, the dealer will remove the charging cable before they are delivered to consumers.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2019-2026 vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. A software error may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Potential Consequence
A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 14, 2026. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 90TV. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on December 23, 2025.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2022-2023 RS E-TRON GT and E-TRON GT vehicles. The passenger occupant detection system (PODS) may experience a fault in the wiring and deactivate the front passenger air bag when the seat is occupied.
Potential Consequence
A deactivated passenger air bag increases the risk of injury during a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the seat cushion, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 15, 2025. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 74HC.

Where the online data shows a potentially critical battery module, the owner will be contacted and advised to only charge the vehicle up to 80% charging capacity until the affected module can be replaced at an authorized Audi dealer, free of charge. For vehicles where online-data is not available (Audi recall number 931B), as an interim measure, dealers will perform diagnostic procedures and, if necessary, replace battery module assemblies, free of charge. Owners of these vehicles will also be advised to only charge their vehicle up to 80% charging capacity, and the inspection may have to be repeated before the software becomes available. Owner notification letters were mailed to Audi recall number 931A on July 24, 2025, and 931B was mailed on July 28, 2025. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's numbers for this recall are 931A and 931B. This recall expands and replaces previous recall numbers 24V-229, and 24V-228. Vehicles previously repaired under the prior recalls will need to have the new remedy completed.
