Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera software.

Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with high-voltage battery module(s) could cause the high-voltage battery to overheat. Safety Risk: A high-voltage battery that overheats could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail. As an interim repair, a dealer will inspect and, if necessary, replace the battery modules. Once the final repair is available, you will need to return to a dealership to install a software update for the high-voltage battery. This software will monitor the high-voltage battery and warn you if it detects a problem. To reduce the safety risk, Audi recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the final recall repairs are completed.

United States records (NHTSA) · 9

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2021 Audi e-tron vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Audi's Canadian VIN lookup.
