Issue: Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the vacuum pump to stop working. If this happens, it could cause a loss of brake assist and a sudden increase in brake pedal force. Note: This problem would cause a brake warning light to turn on and a warning message to display in the instrument cluster. Safety Risk: A sudden increase in brake pedal force can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Aston Martin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the electronic stability program (ESP) software.
Aston Martin is recalling certain 2025 Vanquish vehicles. The vacuum pump may not generate vacuum, resulting in a loss of power brake assist and decreased brake function.
A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Aston Martin will update the ESP software for all affected vehicles, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 1, 2025. Owners may contact Aston Martin customer service at 1-888-923-9988. Aston Martin's number for this recall is RA-06-2074
