Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The bumper embedded rear inner brake lights turn off when the turn signal light is applied, contrary to requirements of the standard. This could be confusing to a road user located behind the vehicle during simultaneous braking and signalling, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the vehicle to correct the non-compliance.

A side curtain airbag that does not deploy as intended during a crash (where side curtain airbag deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will rework the fabric covers of the side curtain airbags.
