Issue: On certain vehicles, the software update installed by a Ford dealer during recall 25SA2 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-547) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the pedestrian alert system not to work properly. Note: This recall only affects hybrid electric vehicles. This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-547. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A pedestrian alert system that doesn't work properly could create confusion and increase the risk of injury for other road users. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail. For certain Nautilus vehicles, owners will be advised to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the digital signal processor (DSP) module. The final corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Additionally, certain advanced driver assistance systems may not work properly, including the pre-collision assist and lane keeping system. Note: This problem could cause the "Front Camera Fault", "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available" and/or "Lane-Keeping System Off" warning messages to display in the instrument cluster. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Driver assistance systems that don't work could also increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the image processing module (IPMA) software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.

Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a 1.5 L engine, 2.0 L gas or hybrid engine or 2.3 L engine. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail. Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 25C36 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-413) may not have been done correctly. As a result, another repair is required. When using the key fob "global close" feature to close the windows, a software problem could cause the window automatic reversal system not to work. If this happens, a window may not stop and retract after detecting an object. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A window that closes with too much force could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the driver and passenger door module software.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the light emitting diode (LED) driver module in the headlight assemblies could fail. If this happens, the high and low beam headlights, parking lights, daytime running lights and turn signal lights may not work. For Nautilus models, this could also cause the rear tail lights, turn signals and parking lights not to work. Note: This problem would cause an "Advanced Front Lighting Feature Temporarily Unavailable" warning message to be displayed and the turn signal telltale to flash at the same speed as when a turn signal bulb fails. Safety Risk: Headlights and/or exterior lights that don't work properly could cause reduce visibility and/or make the vehicle less visible to others. Turn signals that don't work properly may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the LED driver module.
