On certain Sidekick Sport vehicles, insufficient strength of the mounting base on the upper end of the front struts can lead to breakage of the mounting bolts that attach the upper end of the front struts to the vehicle body. This condition could adversely affect vehicle handling. Correction: A reinforcement will be added to both front struts, between the mounting base and the vehicle body. In addition, the front strut mounting bases, mounting bolts and nuts, and strut bar stays will be replaced.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 1997 Suzuki Sidekick vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Suzuki's Canadian VIN lookup.
