Summary

Issue: On certain vehicles, covers were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters. As a result, the headlamps may be adjusted horizontally. Canadian regulations do not allow for horizontal headlamp adjustment unless the vehicle is equipped with a built-in aiming device. Safety Risk: Headlamps that are not properly adjusted could cause reduced visibility or glare for oncoming drivers, and increase the risk of a crash. Summary

On certain vehicles the front hood lock may have been improperly manufactured. The front hood lock upper components, on which the catch bar are riveted to the mounting plate, were not produced according to specifications. This could result in the hood opening unexpectedly while the vehicle is being driven. This could compromise the driver’s ability to see the road and its users, as well as cause damage to the windshield, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the upper part of the lock on the front hood.
