Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the driver assistance system control unit software.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, the left-front upper control arm may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the control arm could break and cause a sudden loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the left-front upper control arm.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the front turn signals to be the wrong colour when the vehicle is parked and the hazard lights are turned on. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: Hazard lights that are the wrong colour could create confusion for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the headlight control unit software.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the headlamps to become incorrectly aimed while reversing. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: Headlamps that aren't aimed correctly could cause reduced visibility and/or glare for oncoming drivers and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the central control unit software.
Summary
Issue: Under certain conditions, the 220 V vehicle charging cable plug could become damaged by the house power outlet. As a result, the charging cable could overheat while charging. Note: This recall only affects electric and plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: A charging cable that overheats could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your 220 V vehicle charger to a dealership to replace the vehicle charging cable.
Summary
Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with the vehicle control software could cause the hazard lights and/or parking lights not to work when the ignition switch is in the "OFF" position. Safety Risk: Hazard lights and parking lights that don't work properly could make the vehicle less visible and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reprogram the gateway control unit.

Potential Consequence
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and tighten the screw connections and replace the high pressure fuel pump and fuel lines as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 19, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ASA9. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 10, 2025.

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024 Cayenne vehicles. The driver's side front axle upper left control arm installed on the vehicles may have been installed with cracks, which can result in front axle control arm breaking and an unexpected loss of steering and wheel control.
Potential Consequence
A sudden loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the driver side left upper control arm, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed September 13, 2024. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARB2.
Summary
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024 Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Coupe, Cayenne Turbo GT, and Cayenne S Coupe vehicles. After the vehicle is turned off, the rear hazard warning lights and the parking lights may not illuminate if they are activated within 10 seconds after the gateway control unit shuts off. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Potential Consequence
Rear hazard warning lights and parking lights that fail to illuminate can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will update the gateway control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 26, 2023. Owners may contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is APB1.
