Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with a carbon fiber trunk, the emergency trunk release was not installed inside the trunk. This could prevent a person that is trapped inside the trunk from opening it. Safety Risk: If a person is closed inside the trunk, they may not be able to get out. This could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install the trunk release mechanism.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2016 Nissan GT-R vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Nissan's Canadian VIN lookup.
