On certain vehicles, the left brake hoses may have been damaged during vehicle assembly. If the vehicles are operated in this condition, brake fluid may leak. This could result in degraded brake performance. Correction: Vehicles will be inspected and, if necessary, left rear brake hoses will be replaced.

Summary

On certain vehicles, if operated at low speeds in a hot and humid environment with the window open, air conditioner running and audio on, condensed water on the A/C duct surface may drop and enter into the audio unit, causing a short circuit. If the short circuit occurs at one specific set of terminals, the rear right speaker can overheat and possibly catch fire. Correction: Dealers will affix aluminum tape over the audio unit to prevent water from entering .

On certain vehicles, the headlight lead wire running from the combination switch to the headlight switch that is built into the turn lever may be bent during production. In these vehicles, the wire can be subject to bending fatigue, and over time may break. Should this occur, there might be a gradual loss of headlights, potentially resulting in a total loss of headlights. Correction: Headlight switch will be replaced on affected vehicles.

UNNECESSARY AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY AND A POSSIBLE VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: TIE DOWN HOOKS WILL BE REPLACED WITH A MODIFIED VERSION WHICH WILL SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE THE LIKELIHOOD OF UNNECESSARY AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT.
