Summary

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing. Summary

Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 22C35 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-743) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, the seat belt reminder chime may not sound for long enough when you start the vehicle, and your seat belt is not buckled. Canadian regulations require both a seat belt reminder sound and visual telltale when a driver is not wearing their seat belt. Note: This recall only affects vehicles with a Revel audio system. Safety Risk: A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you to buckle your seat belt. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the audio control module software.

A high-voltage battery that overheats could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to test the battery energy control module (BECM).
