Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lamborghini will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
Issue: On certain vehicles, the quick connector for the fuel line in the engine compartment can soften due to exposure to high engine temperatures. If this happens, there could be a fuel odour or fuel leak in the engine compartment. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Lamborghini will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel line and quick connector.
Issue: The owner's manual that was included with certain vehicles may contain printing errors. Specifically, parts of the English manual may have some details written in French only. This could cause confusion to a reader. Safety Risk: If an owner does not understand French, they may not receive important safety information about features in the vehicle. Corrective Actions: Lamborghini will notify owners by mail and will provide a corrected copy of the owner's manual.
Issue: Certain wheels were made without a marking that is required by Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: This small error does not affect safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has made changes to include the required marking on all new parts.
