Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.
On certain vehicles equipped with 1.4L engines, there may be a software calibration fault in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) which could cause a delayed throttle response to accelerate or maintain vehicle speed. A loss of vehicle propulsion could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the PCM with revised software.
On certain vehicles, the driver's knee airbag may have been folded incorrectly at time of assembly. This could cause irregular airbag deployment, which could increase the risk of injury to an unbelted driver in a crash that warrants airbag deployment. Correction: Dealers will replace the airbag. Note: Drivers and passengers should always wear their seatbelt.
On certain vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, a defect may result in a loss of communication between the gearshift module and the transmission. This may delay or disable the driver's ability to shift the transmission. This could result in unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace affected gear shift modules or reprogram gear shift module software, as necessary.
