Issue: On certain vehicles, when using the power folding function, the third-row seats may not automatically reverse if an obstruction is detected. As a result, occupants or objects could become trapped between the seat and the seatback. Safety Risk: A folding seatback that doesn't reverse could increase the risk of injury. Corrective actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail. As an interim repair, a dealer will disable the third-row power folding function. General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Cadillac Vistiq vehicles. When the power fold feature is activated, the third-row power seatback may fail to reverse when enountering a person.

An improperly secured battery may become damaged in a crash, increasing the risk of a fire.
