VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH THE 200-4R TRANSMISSION MAY HAVE AN IMPROPERLY FORMED MANUAL VALVE LINK. THIS COULD LEAD TO THE LINK SEPARATING, RESULTING IN A GEAR SELECTION NOT CORRELATING TO THE SHIFT INDICATOR. ALSO, THE CAR COULD BE STARTED IN GEAR. THUS, WHEN SELECTING A GEAR OR STARTING THE VEHICLE, IT AS POSSIBLE FOR THE VEHICLE TO UNEXPECTEDLY MOVE IN AN UNANTICIPATED DIRECTION. THIS COULD RESULT IN A CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: MANUAL VALVE LINK WILL BE REPLACED.

United States records (NHTSA) · 5

These are NHTSA campaigns for 1987 Cadillac Brougham vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Cadillac's Canadian VIN lookup.
