Bentley Motors, Inc. (Bentley) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Flying Spur vehicles. The rear entertainment screen retention bracket, located in the rear of the front seats, may have been incorrectly installed.
An incorrectly installed retention bracket can result in the entertainment screen becoming a projectile during a crash, increasing the risk of occupant injury.
Dealers will inspect and replace the retention brackets in both front seats, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 6, 2023. Owners may contact Bentley customer service at 1-800-777-6923. Bentley's number for this recall is RE23/06 (RC71).
Issue: On certain vehicles, the brackets that attach the rear entertainment screens to the front seatbacks may not have been installed correctly. As a result, a screen could separate in a crash. Safety Risk: An entertainment screen that separates in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the brackets for the rear entertainment screens. If a bracket isn't installed correctly, it will be replaced.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
