On certain Audi Coupe Quattro, a securing clip affixed to the outside hinges of the left and right front seat back may not be properly seated due to interference with seat covering material. An improperly secured clip could cause a separation of the seat back hinge from its anchor bolt in the event of a rear-end collision and may result in injury. Correction: Seat back hinge will be inspected for interference by seat cover material and material will be realigned where necessary. Damaged securing clips will be replaced if necessary.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 1990 Audi Coupe vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Audi's Canadian VIN lookup.
