Issue: On certain vehicles, the engine oil cooler hoses may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the hoses could fail and leak oil. This could cause a loss of power to the wheels and/or an engine fire. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-218. For the DBX model, certain vehicles repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. An engine fire can create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Aston Martin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the engine oil cooler hoses.
Issue: On certain vehicles, the power cable(s) in the fuse box may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the cable(s) could become loose and overheat. If this happens, the engine could stall and the headlamps and/or the power steering assist could stop working. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort. Headlamps that stop working could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Aston Martin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fasteners for the power cables. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace any damaged parts.

Aston Martin The Americas (Aston Martin) is recalling certain 2021-2024 DBX vehicles. Electrical cables in the battery fuse box may be loose, which can result in an engine stall, or a loss of headlights and/or power steering.
An engine stall or loss of headlights and/or power steering can increase the risk of a crash.
Dealers will inspect the fuses and cables for damage and replace them as necessary. In addition, the fasteners will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
