Issue: On certain vehicles, the low-pressure fuel pipe assembly could disconnect. If this happens, fuel could leak in the engine compartment. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Issue: On certain vehicles, the nuts securing the fuel pipes to the high-pressure fuel pump may loosen and create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can increase the risk of a fire. Corrective Action: McLaren will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealer to replace the high-pressure fuel pipes. McLaren advises owners not to drive your vehicle on a racetrack until the recall repairs have been completed.
