Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be an electrical component fault. This could cause a problem with charging of the auxiliary battery. If this happens, warning lights and messages will display on the instrument panel and audible chimes will sound. If the vehicle continues to be operated with this problem, it could lose power to the drive wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the drive wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the DC-DC converter. It will be replaced with a new one if necessary.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2019 Toyota Prius c vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Toyota's Canadian VIN lookup.
