Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver and passenger-front seat belt pretensioner cable could corrode over time. As a result, the cable could break and the seat belt may not hold a person during a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the seat belt(s). The dealer will also modify the floor covering around the seat belt anchor pretensioner cables.

United States records (NHTSA) · 6

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2017 Ford Mustang vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Ford's Canadian VIN lookup.
